I am a Visual Storyteller

San Jose-based video producer, cinematographer, editor, and all-around content creator with a passion for storytelling and deep strategic and technical experience.

A California transplant from Massachusetts, Chris started pursuing Cinematography after working as a Camera Assistant and PA in Boston for several years after graduating from Bowdoin College. He was awarded his MFA in Cinematography & Writing from USC's School of Cinematic Arts in 2013, and shot actively in Los Angeles before moving up to San Francisco.

Once in the Bay Area, Chris broadened his skill set and experience and now produces, shoots, and edits a wide variety of content ranging from narrative fiction to commercials, and company stories to marketing content. In 2015 he shot his first feature film, "Smile Again, Jenny Lee", about a young woman's search for her absentee father and the long-held family secrets she uncovers along the way.

Not just your typical camera jockey, Chris is also an adept project manager, team leader, and cross-discipline storyteller with copywriting and graphic design skills to round it out. He taught Cinematography at the Futures Explored Film & Media Workshop for several years, and produced over 700 videos for Realm as Media Producer from 2015-2017, leading 4x increases in site traffic and social followers with his content marketing.
